Comments must be received by August 1, 2026

The Leslie County Fiscal Court provides notice that an environmental review has been completed for the proposed Leeco Road Campground Sewer Extension Project, funded in part by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The project will extend sanitary sewer service to the Leeco Road area, eliminating approximately 40 failing septic systems within the drainage area of the Middle Fork of the Kentucky River.

A Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) was published on January 24, 2025. The full Environmental Review Record is available for public inspection at the Leslie County Courthouse during regular office hours.

On or about June 19, 2026, the Fiscal Court will submit a request to the Kentucky Department for Local Government (DLG) for release of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974.
